Granville Lucero Richardson was born on May 22, 1896 in Arabela, New Mexico. (Cemetery Stone has wrong birth and death dates) His parents were Andrew McNeely Richardson and Benina Lucero. Granville married Amanda Maes on August 27, 1915, in Patos, NM. Patos was located in Lincoln County, NM. Granville and Amanda had 12 children:

Prestinia Richardson Jimenez
Eduardo (Edward) Richardson
Andres (Andrew) Richardson
Alberto (Albert) Richardson
Lucera Richardson Montes
Roberto (Robert) Richardson
Alfredo (Alfred) Richardson
Olivia Richardson Vigil
Gregorio Granville (Billy) Richardson
Philbert Richardson
Rebecca Delfinia Richardson Torrez
John Salomon Richardson

His children called him "EnPapa", his grandchildren called him "Pa Bill" or "Grampo Bill". As a young man, Granville had been riding on the sideboard of a pickup truck when an oncoming vehicle sideswiped the truck and hit him directly on the hip. It was never surgically reset so that it would heal correctly so this left Granville with one leg longer than the other. Many people remember his limp.

Granville left this earth on May 16, 1963. He remarked to his son, Albert, right before his death that he was nearly 67 years old. He never saw that birthday. Granville is buried next to his wife, Amanda, in Hondo Cemetery.
