Major League Baseball Player. The outfielder got into a total of 18 games for the Washington Senators in 1935 and 1943. The right-handed batter hit .179 with one homer and two runs batted in. He was the older brother of Marty Marion, longtime St. Louis Cardinals shortstop who was the National League's Most Valuable Player in 1944 and who managed the Cardinals (1951), the St. Louis Browns (1952 to 1953) and the Chicago White Sox (1954 to 1956). (bio by: Ron Coons)
