Mrs. Catherine Golden
Lowell, Feb. 19 – Mrs. Catherine Golden, who for many years was a resident of Rome, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Storck of this place, at 10:35 a.m. Saturday from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Golden was born in West Branch 75 years ago. She was the widow of John C. Golden who died Feb.19, 1902. She is survived by seven children; Daniel and William of Rome, Eugene of Westmoreland, Mrs. P. Selden of Lee Center, Mrs.. G. W. Storck of Lowell and Mrs. L. P. Shear and Mrs. E. D. Burns of Buffalo; also one sister and three brothers, Mrs. T. S. Turning of Copenhagen, David Patten of Oneida, John of the West and Peter of Aurora, Ill. A private funeral will be held at her late home on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine E. Golden, who died Thursday, were held yesterday at 2:30 p.m. at her late home, 118 W. Fox St. The Rev. Howard D. Holmes, pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, officiated. Mrs. Edward S. Bronson sang "Good Night and Good Morning" and "Jesus, Lover of my Soul."
There were many floral pieces.
The companies of the Forest of America 557 called Saturday night and held their ritualistic service and also attended the funeral in a body.
Bearers were Charles Delaney, Daniel Delaney, James Smith, George Smith, Theodore Colden and William Thomas. Interment was made in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
