Composed many very popular hymns including "Camping In Canaan's Land," "Everybody Will Be Happy Over There," "Jesus Opened Up The Way" and probably his most popular "Victory In Jesus." Bartlett attended the Hall-Moody Institute, Martin, Tennessee, and the William Jewell Academy, Independence, Missouri. He also founded the Hartford Music Company in Hartford, Arkansas, and was editor of the music magazine Herald of Song.
