Birth: Dec. 24, 1885
Death: Jan. 25, 1941

Hymn composer/publisher. Composed many very popular hymns including "Camping In Canaan's Land," "Everybody Will Be Happy Over There," "Jesus Opened Up The Way" and probably his most popular "Victory In Jesus." Bartlett at­tend­ed the Hall-Moody In­sti­tute, Mar­tin, Ten­nes­see, and the Will­iam Jew­ell Acad­e­my, In­de­pen­dence, Mis­sou­ri. He also found­ed the Hart­ford Mu­sic Com­pa­ny in Hart­ford, Ar­kan­sas, and was ed­it­or of the mu­sic mag­a­zine Her­ald of Song.
