Blume Rites held Sunday Afternoon
Deceased Had Been Resident For 33 Years
Funeral services for Mrs. R. A. Blume, 88, who died Saturday night, were held Sunday afternoon at the Minden Methodist church by the Rev. J. J. Rasmussen, pastor, assisted by the Rev. W. F. O'Kelley and the Rev. H. E. Kirkpatrick. Burial was in the Minden cemetery with the Dennis funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Blume had been a resident of Minden for the past 33 years. She was a member of the Minden Methodist church.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Ernest Blume of Jonesboro, and Dr. C. M. Blume of Houston, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Marshall Talton and Mrs. W. H. Young of Minden, Mrs. P. A. Gwyn of Memphis, Tennessee, Mrs. Mack Tooke of Ringgold, and Mrs. E. F. Osborne of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
