Whitehead-Funeral Services for Mrs. Della West Whitehead, widow of L. F. Whitehead of 8033 Oakwood St. who died Tuesday in a local hospital will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday in the North Main St. Baptist Church with the Rev. James Barber officiating. Mrs. Whitehead was a native and life-long resident of Duval County. She was a member of the North Main Street Baptist Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lida Thrower, Mrs. Bernice McCleod, Mrs. Dora Hansen, Mrs Mabel Hitzing and Mrs. Marion Strickland; a son Edgar Whitehead; a sister, Mrs Lula Bedencourt, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robert Thrower, William Thrower, Dan Hansen, David Strickland, Robert Wyse, and Ralph Garner. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Corey Kerlin
