"Mildred Schiel died peacefully Saturday, July 17, 1999, at New Albany Care Center, Columbus, Ohio. She is remember by her her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and acquaintances as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born August 26, 1906, in Danville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Schiel; mother and father, Clyde and Cleo Clem; sister, Doris Steusloff; great grandson, Benjamin Stecklein.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Betty, and son-in-law, Raymond Stecklein, of Gahanna; grandchildren, Larry, Jim and Bob Stecklein of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Cole, Jesse, Alexis and Cassidy Stecklein; her brother, Wayne Clem, of Toledo.

She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest; being of help to anyone in need. She was active in a garden club and other civic affairs while living on a farm in Swanton; as well as being a member of the Altar Rosary Society at St. Richard Church, until she and Joe moved to Reynolds Corners and joined Little Flower Church where she remained active.

Interment is in St. Richard Cemetery, Swanton, Ohio. Arrangements by Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio."
