Virginia Bogan Bishop, 95, widow of James Osborne Bishop, died Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Perrin B. and Zinnie Swanger Bogan.
Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of McCormick and former member of Dunean Baptist Church and Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are two children, Larry J. Bishop and wife, Frankie, of Greenville and Sonja Jean Anderson of Bradley, SC; four grandchildren, Christian Bishop, Shane, James and Daniel Anderson; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth Bogan of Greenville and Marshall Bogan of Columbia.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
