ARLINGTON NEWS

The sad news of the death of Mrs. Bert Hopkins in Tucson, Arizona, on Thursday afternoon was a shock to her many friends here. Mrs. Hopkins, before her marriage was Miss Bernice Unthank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Unthank, formerly of this place. Mrs. Hopkins, accompanied by her husband, went to Arizona in October for her health but the trip was not beneficial. Bernice Unthank was born in Arlington 32 years ago and grew to womanhood here. For seven years she had been the assistant cashier at a Cedar Bluffs bank until her illness compelled her to give up her work. Six years ago she moved to Fremont with her parents with whom she made her home. Besides her husband, her parents and three sisters survive. Mrs. A. W. Huntsman, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Mrs. H. D. Meentz, of Fremont, and Vivian of Fremont.
