Paul T. Conradi, 89 years of age, of Sterling, Nebraska, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was born November 20, 1916 at Cheney, Nebraska and moved at an early age to Bennett, Nebraska. He married Vera Klein on November 25, 1947 at the Hope Lutheran Church of Burr, Nebraska. They lived in Dunbar, Burr and Palmyra where he was a blacksmith, mechanic and farmer. In 1962, they moved to Sterling, Nebraska. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Sterling, Nebraska. He enjoyed working with horses and was a member of Camp Creek Threshers and the Sod Busters.

Survivors include one daughter, Marian Ripenburg of Sterling, Nebraska. One son, Glen Conradi of Dalhart, Texas. Two granddaughters, Janice Rutt and her husband Ryan and Amanda Zweerink and her husband Chris all of Lincoln, Nebraska. Two grandsons, Paul Ripenburg and his wife Corrine of Lincoln, Nebraska and Scott Conradi and his wife Christy of Guymon, Oklahoma. Six great-grandchildren. One sister, Josephine Freeman of Nebraska City, Nebraska. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Tena Kolder Conradi, his wife, Vera, who died July 17, 2002, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 24, 2006 at the St. John Lutheran Church of Sterling, Nebraska with Pastor Doyle Karst officiating. Burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at 1:45 A.M. in fellowship room of the church. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with Shannon and Erma Hazen in charge. The body will lie in state at the Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling until 9:30 A.M.
