Obituary for Charles G. Cyphert by Elsie Miller, Kingsville Correspondent:

The community was shocked on Saturday morning, September 22, 1928, to hear of the death of Charles G. Cyphert, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Upper Limestone.
Mr. Cyphert was taken quite ill on Tuesday night and suffered intensely at times until Saturday morning at 6 o'clock when he was called home.
Charles G. Cyphert was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Cyphert. He was born on the farm that is now known as the Ralph Reinsel farm, October, 1853. He was almost 75 years of age. He was married to Miss Anna Weaver who preceded him in death twenty four years ago. To this union were born ten children, all of whom survive except Rose who died in infancy, and Ida, Mrs. Osborn, who died a few years ago.
Those living are Eugene of Waterson, Frank of Curllsville, Alvin of Conneautville, Charles of Oklahoma, Mrs. Norbert Reinsel of Clarion, D.O., Mrs. H. D. C. Harrison and Geraldine of Kingsville.
Mr. Cyphert was loved and respected by those who knew him. He was a member of St. Nicholas church at Crates. Funeral services were held at 9:00 o'clock, Tuesday morning at the St. Nicholas church at Crates, by his pastor, Rev. Father John Ring. Interment in St. Nicholas cemetery.-
