Funeral services for Mrs. Dewey Horner, 74, of Stoughton were conducted at 1:39 Monday in the chapel of the Skaalen Home, Stoughton. The former Iva Schindler was born Feb 12, 1902, in Blanchardville, a daughter of Albert and Nellie (Wallace) Schindler. She died May 14, 1976 at the Skaalen Home, after a long illness. She married Dewey Horner on Sept. 20, 1917, and they lived in the Blanchardville area until 1950, when they moved to Stoughton. He died in 1970.

Mrs. Horner is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Delmar (Beatrice) Edmunds and Mrs. Herman Theiler of Stoughton and Mrs. Donald (Avis) Lease of Sun Prairie; two sons, Dean and Roger of Stoughton; eight sisters, Mrs. Katie Rickey of Mt. Horeb, Mrs. Sarah Olson, Mrs. Bonita Kellesvig and Mrs. Albert (Nellie) Bellamy of Stoughton; Mrs. John (Ethel) Kainz of Blanchardville; Mrs. Glenn (Esther) Gilmore of Monroe; Mrs. Florence Wenger of Seattle, Wash, and Mrs. Ward Irwin Sr. of Pittsville; and two brothers, Clifford Schindler of Monroe and Earl Schindler of Warren, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Interment was in East Side Lutheran Cemetery, Stoughton.
