Mr. H. J. Gaas (sic) died last Saturday morning at the home of his brother Mr. P. Gaass, at the ripe old age of 72 years, having been in failing health for a number of years. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at ten o'clock and were conducted by Rev. John Stuart of the Baptist church, after which the remains were buried in the city of the dead just northwest of town. So one by one the aged are entering their eternal reward.
