Elsie Siedel was born to David and Lea Austin December 2, 1895 in Republic County and died February 1 at Aberdeen, S. D., following two years of failing health at the age of 73 years, one month and 29 days.
She was united in marriage to Orval Taylor April 14, 1915 who died May 19, 1933. Seven children were born to this union.
November 4, 1950 she was united in marriage to Joseph Siedel. They lived near Morrowville until 1968 when they moved to Brentford, S. D.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Luella Grubbs, sister, Pearli Nullar, and brother, James.
She is survived by: her husband; children, Raymond Taylor of Warsaw, Ind., Pauline Bergstrom of Port Neches, Tex., Albert, Orval and Don Taylor of Piercton, Ind., George Taylor of Nederland, Tex.; 33 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Tillman Austin of Largo, Fla.; sisters, Pansy Curry of Arvada, Colo., Ester Dullin of Concordia.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Ren Buchalter from Tibbetts Bros. Chapel Tuesday, February 4 with burial in the Belleville cemetery.
