J. Truman Fogleman

NEODESHA - J. Truman Fogleman, 75, died Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. at his Neodesha home.

Born April, 6, 1905 in Saline County,Mo., he was the son of Louis and Adeline (Putnum) Fogleman.

On May 21, 1927, he married the former Audrey Hale at Independence. They resided at Thayer prior to moving to Neodesha 16 years ago. He was an oil driller at the time of his retirement.

He was a member of the United Methodist church, the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star of Thayer and the Neodesha Lions Club.

Survivors include: his wife Audrey, of their Neodesha home; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Jane) Stafford of Westfield, N.J., and Mrs. Pat (Mary Jean) Mosman of Lawndale, Calf.; a sister, Mrs. Necia Rogers of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Neodesha United Methodist Church with burial in the Thayer Cemetery, under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home of Neodesha.
