Woodrow "Britches" Johnson, 78, of Hancock County died Friday, July 28, 1995.
Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at Knowles Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Kelly and Chuck Hunt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, a native of Hancock County, was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation highway department, where he worked for 30 years. He attended Knowles Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Stewart and Sharon Lewis, both of White Plains; a brother, Elbert Johnson of Milledgeville; five sisters, Molly Pulliam, Easter Armour and Agnes Roberts, all of Milledgeville, Pecola Johnson of Sparta and Frances Reynolds of Damascus; and three grandchildren.
Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
