Death of Mrs. H. E. Price
Mrs. H. E. Price died at her home near Bogue Chitto late in the afternoon, Saturday, March 14th at the age of 70 years. Death came after an illness of only a few days. Before going to Bogue Chitto to reside, Mr. and Mrs. Price made their home in McComb for several years at the residence of their nephew and foster son Bennett T. Boyd.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Mt. Pleasant church in charge of Rev. Hosea Price, a relative of the family, assisted by Rev. J. H. Lane, long time friend, and Rev. H. L. Carter of McComb. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
The large group of relatives and friends who attended the funeral and a great mound of lovely flowers bespoke the love and esteem in which Mrs. Price was held.
