Kenneth Hoyt Williams, 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Through his pain, he never stopped putting a smile on everyone's faces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lamar and Edith Autrey Williams; 9 siblings and his son, Bruce Joseph Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beatrice Rose Williams; sister, Geraldine Mason of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Harold Eugene Williams of Seminole, FL; his daughter, Leslie Howells (Ray Pappion) of Tampa, FL; his grandson, Chris Cheeseman (Kristie Ruth) of Pensacola, FL; granddaughter, Lindsey Howells of Petal, MS; grandson, Cory Howells of Pensacola; great grandsons, Blayne Howells of Petal, MS and Tristan Cheeseman of Pensacola, FL.
He was loved by all and will be missed by his family, friends and dogs, Beau D, Charlie and Buffy!

Ken was born May 5, 1939 in Ellaville, GA, the youngest of 12 children. He received an appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, Class of 1961. He went on to a 22 year career as a United States Navy Pilot. He flew over 300 missions in OV 10 Broncos with the Black Pony Squadron in Viet Nam and earned many awards and citations. After retirement from the Navy he went back to sea as a boat Captain in Louisiana. In more recent years he worked with his friends at Solutia, Pensacola Plant.

The family will receive family and friends 1-3pm Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30am Monday, September 22, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ed Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at Naval Air Station, Pensacola.

Our family would like to give special thanks and love to Dr. Cary Ostergaard at Naval Hospital Pensacola, who has been with us through this very long process. Special thanks also to Dr. Moore and the ICU team at West Florida Hospital and the Covenant Hospice nurses, and all the friends of Bill W. Who have given so much support.

Harper-Morris Obituaries 9/19/2014Kenneth E. Williams, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Pensacola, FL. He was born on October 6, 1940 to his loving parents, Tillie and Elisha Williams in Tovey, Illinois.

Kenneth is survived by his caring wife of fifty- three years, Maria M. Williams; their two sons, Julio E. Williams and Edward R. Williams; and grandchildren, Malik O. Williams and Aspen N. Williams.

He will be missed by all his loved ones and continue to live on in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Lineup will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Trahan Family Funeral Home to lead a precession to Barrancas National Cemetery for the final resting place of Kenneth E. Williams.
