Albert Kemp was born April 17, 1919 to Stanford and Sarah Kemp in Oklahoma City where he resided with his bride of 69 years, Ethelyne (Pat) Kemp. He was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School and entered for two terms in the US Coast Guard after graduation.

Albert was employed by Tinker Air Force Base from 1945-1976 where he started as a mechanic in the 3001 building engine repair and advanced to Unit Supervisor, over approximately 150 employees.

After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and vacationing with his wife. His first love was his family and the Lord. He was an active member of Independence Ave. Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters and his son, Tom Kemp.

He leaves behind his wife, Ethelyne (Pat) Kemp of OKC, son Larry Kemp and wife Patti Kemp of OKC, daughter Judy Ensz and husband Jeff of Newcastle, six grandchildren, Terry Ann Baxter, Curtis Kemp and wife Phyllis, Tammy Frost, Tamara McPherson, Allen Kemp and wife Shannon, Jeff Brown and wife Desi, and four great grandchildren, Tori Quintero, Zac Frost, Chase and Lauren McPherson.

We will all miss those beautiful blue eyes and that smile that was so prevalent. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather, and friend to many.
