Margaret, the daughter of Benjamin Whitener and Mary Magadalena Whisenhunt, was born about 1804. She had 14 siblings and all were mentioned in their father's will. The four youngest children, Ephraim, David, Margaret, and Fannie, were minors when their father died, and guardians were appointed for them. Daniel Conrad was appointed for Margaret April 22, 1917. In 1850 Margaret was in the household of her sister, Barbara Sigman, in Newton Co., GA. That is the last known record of Margaret.
