Services were Friday for Jack Bond, 59, Tyler, Texas, formerly of Eldon, who died Aug 31 at his home. He was born Oct 19, 1934, in Eugene, a son of Miller and Marguerite Bond. His father and stepmother, Lucy Bond, survive in Garland, Texas. He was married to Carolyn Bond, who survives at the home.
A resident of Tyler since 1974, he was vice-president of sales at Loggins Meat Co., Garland. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, Garland.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Debbie Lewis, Rowlett, Texas, Pam Reynolds, Midland, Texas, Cindy Kaplan, Plano, Texas, and Beverly Hale, Garland; one stepson, Greg Thompson, Meridian, Miss.; one brother, Roger Bond, Garland; two sisters, Mary Steinman, Rogers, Ark., and Marlene Milner, Garland; and 12 grandchildren.
Services were held at Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler. The Rev. Glenn Winter officiated. Graveside Masonic services were at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, Tyler. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of East Texas, 3800 Paluxy Dr., Suite 560, Tyler Texas 75703.
