He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mae Deeds Taylor Rone; son, James Leroy Rone; his mother and father; sisters, Marjorie Atkinson, Norma McKee, Virginia Lea Mayes and Dorothy Ann Rone, who died shortly after birth.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kenneth held many positions of leadership, including Branch President, District President and Stake Patriarch.
Kenneth joined the CCC's shortly after high school graduation. It was during that time that he met the love of his life, Georgia. They were married on December 16, 1939 in Springfield, Mo.
He began working for Lipscomb Grain and Seed Company in 1941, but his employment was interrupted in 1944 when he was drafted into the Navy during WWII. When the war ended he returned to his job at Lipscomb's and worked his way up to Mill manager before retiring in 1988.
He was a proud and devoted member of Kiwanis club for thirty three years.
