My uncle Angelo was born in St. Stino di Livenza, on the outskirts of Venice, to Elena Zannon and Giulio Loroscopi. He was their only son.
The family moved to Vicenza during WWII.
Angelo became a personal chef, working at one time for the Rothschild family. He won an award for his skills as a tailor.
He was tall and elegant.
Before american brand cereals were available in Italy, he asked my mother to send him cornflakes, which he loved.
He was a brother to Celestina and Valeria. He took care of his sister and mother in Italy every day of their lives, until his death from cancer.
A big 'thank you' to all who've left a token for my uncle.
