Felix Arthur died of arterio sclerosis, caused by chronic myocarditis. He was buried in the St-Bernard's cemetery on January 22nd 1920.

On January 9th 1872 in the Parish of Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Province of Québec, Arthur Vaillancourt married Rosanna Gagné, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Gagné and Rosalie Thibault.
