On 3 Jul 1797 he married Elizabeth Simpson in Garrard Co, KY. Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles Simpson 1744-1834 and Margaret Ann Harris 1750-1820. She lived 1776-1837. They had the following 8 children:

Benjamin stayed in Lincoln Co, KY until his death. However, his burial site is unknown.
