Mrs. Sinna Stemm, 78, of 969 Elm street died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday(May 21) at Bethesda Hospital following a six - week illness.

She was born Dec. 24, 1889, in Morgan County a daughter of David and Emma Morris Pierce. She had lived here most of her life.

Surviving are her husband, John: eight sons, Albert of 896 Goddard avenue, John of 806 Goddard avenue, Jess of 1633 Adamsville road, Richard of Nutt street, Russell of Spring street, Donald of Coopermill road, Ronald of Spangler drive
and Virgil of Jones street, South Zanesville; three daughter, Mrs. Emma Thompson of Parkersburg, W. Virginia, Mrs Francis Christman of 416 Monroe street, Mrs Juanita Anguish of Malta; four brothers, Thomas of Adamsville, Jess of Russell street, William of 1213 Sharon avenue and Emmett of 972 Hughes street; five sister, Mrs. Gertrude Towels of Akron, Mrs. Louis Norton of Brandon, E. Virginia, Mrs. Maude Doyle of Langdon lane, Mrs. Rachael Andrews of Grant street and Mrs. Lucille McGee of Canton; 29 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
