Practiced his profession in Tattnall Co., GA, until 1901, when he moved to Sevier Co., AR. He joined the Sevier County Medical Society in the same year and was always found at
his post of duty until the time of his death, April 6, 1905. He was a consistent member of the Missionary Baptist Church. He was buried with Masonic honors in Redmen's Cemetery, De Queen, April 7, 1905.
