Pat M. Baca, age 87, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on August 23, 2014.
Pat was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Agnes A. Baca, his parents, Santiago and Filomena Baca and brother, Dave R. Baca.
Mr. Baca is survived by his two sons, Pat E. Baca Jr. and Michael A. Baca and his wife, Brenda and daughter, Liz Metzner and her husband, Frank, eight grandchildren, Tim and his wife, Michelle, Richard, Annette and her husband, Art, Jenniel, Andrea, Daniel, Valerie and Zachary, great-grandchildren, Isaac, Arturo, Joseph, Brianna, Bryanna, Alyssanna, Richard, Gabriella and Izaiah, brother, Jimmy Baca and his wife, Lillian, sister, Irene Rivera and her husband, Fermin and several other nieces and nephews.
Pat worked in construction as a plasterer all his life and after retiring, he enjoyed going to the senior center dances, field trips and visiting with all his friends. Pat was also an avid walker and has been a member of San José Catholic Church for the past 45 years.
Pat’s Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at San José Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE, followed by a Mass at 12:00 noon also at San José Catholic Church. Burial will be at San José de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Baca, Daniel Baca, Zachary Metzner, Danny Baca, Mike Esquíbel and Jose Villegas. Honorary pallbearers will be Hermon Montoya, Anthony "Tony" Montoya and Winn Wadell.
