One of thirteen military personnel killed when
U.S. Air Force C-47D Skytrain #45-1124
crashed into the side of Mt. San Gorgonio,
California, approximately midway between San
Bernardino and Yucca Valley, during an intense
snowstorm, December 1, 1952.

The wreck was located three weeks later on
December 21 under twelve feet of snow, but
the bodies of the victims were not removed
from the crash site until May 3, 1953.

The service men killed were:
