WOLBACH-Gertrude L. Bandt, 90, of Wolbach died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Rev. Gerald Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jacobsen-Greenway. Memorials are suggested to the St. Francis Hospice.

Mrs. Bandt was born Feb. 25, 1910, to John and Yarda (Carlson) Nestor in Wolbach. She grew up in the O'Connor, graduating from the O'Connor High School in 1927 with honors.
She married Patrick J. Gibbons on Sept. 5, 1928, in Lincoln. They lived on a farm near Wolbach and later moved into Wolbach. In 1937, they moved to the state of Washington, where she was employed for Boeing Aircraft Co. for 20 years. She retired in 1972. Mr. Gibbons died in 1974.

In 1976, she moved back to Wolbach to make her home. She married Overton Bandt on August 7, 1978, in Alma. They made their home in Wolbach. Mr. Bandt died on August 9, 1985. Mrs. Bandt then made her home with her son in Washington. She later returned to Wolbach to live with her daughter.

Survivors include one son, John of Renton, Wash.;, Patricia F. Marinkovich of Castro Valley, Calif., and Sandra M. (Mrs. Michael) McIntyre of Wolbach; 19 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren ; three great-great-grandchildren; two
sisters, Patricia Burcham of Emmett, Idaho and Geraldine Hysell of Vale, Oregon; and special friend, Ted Klein of Washington state.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Patrick and Overton;, two sons, Eugene and Timothy Gibbons; one daughter, Maureen Humphreys; three brothers, Joe, Ray
and Gerald Nestor; one sister, Leona Anderson and two grandchildren.
