Funeral Set Tuesday At St. Paul's Church
Mrs. Margaret E. Heeren, 61, wife of Herman T, Heeren died Friday evening. May 16, at her home in Anamosa after a lingering illness.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Rev. H, E. Hahn will officiate.
Serving as casket bearers will be her six sons. Goettsch Funeral home handled arrangements.
Survivors Listed
Surviving besides her husband are her sons, Elmer, who is in the Army stationed at Las Vegas; Nev.: Lyman, Dennis, Maynard, Anamosa; Wayne and Norman, who are in the Navy.
Four brothers, one sister and six grandchildren also survive.
Born In Wayne
Mrs. Heeren was born in the Wayne community Feb. 23, 1891, the daughter of Henry Eden Harms and his wife Rena Siemers. She was baptized at Wayne Zion Lutheran church March 23, 1891. Mrs. Heeren was confirmed at Wayne April 16, 1805, by Rev. C. Mardorf.
Married In 1922
She united in marriage Dec. 6,1022, to Herman Heeren. Ceremony was performed in the Lutheran church at Maynard by Rev. John Lorch.
They spent their entire married life farming. Six children were born to this union.
