A member of St Hilary Catholic Church, she had volunteered for the American Red Cross and the Voluntary Missionary movement. Mrs. Pizzino had received her RN from the Maurmee Valley School of Nursing and her BSN from the University of Akron.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Pizzino, MD, she is survived by her five children, Anthony, Gina(Greg)Volchko, Maria Pizzino, Elisa Pizzino, Nancy Pizzino; grandchildren, Joey, Renee, Carla, Billy, Robbie, Daniella, Bobby. Sisters, Kella, Irene Giarmo, Carol Micheal, brothers, Frank and Bill Cicanese.
