Bobby Ray Baldree, Sr., 74, of Irwinville, Georgia died Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Irwinville Baptist Church in Irwinville, Georgia, with the Rev. Jeff Cummings and the Rev. Sonny Pate officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 to 8, at The Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla.
Mr. Baldree was born January 8, 1940, in Enigma, Georgia to the late Jasper James “J.J.” and Jeannie Giddens Baldree. He lived in the Irwinville community all of his life. He was a farmer and a textile mill supervisor for Forstmann Textiles, formerly J. P. Stevens and Modern Fibers. Mr. Baldree was a member of Irwinville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years; 3 sons and one daughter; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one brother and one sister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Larry Keith Baldree, Sr.; four brothers and three sisters.
