Francisco Beltran de las Casas was the son of Jose de las Casas and Ursula. He married Elizabeth Carder Pedrick (1810 –) the daughter of John Pedrick (1774 – 1853) and Elizabeth Ely Fettyplace (1774 – 1813) of Marblehead, Massachusetts. They had at least three children:
1) John Carder Pedrick Beltran de las Casas (born 1844 Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts - 19 Feb 1864 Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts).
2) Louis Uroie A Beliram de las Casas (1854 in Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts - 5 Aug 1858 in Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts).
3) William Beltran de las Casas (born 3 Mar 1857 Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts) who designed the Boston Metropolitan Park System.
Francisco Beltran de las Casas was a noted teacher of art and languages, who was born near Tarragona, Spain. His wife, Elizabeth Carder (Pedrick) de las Casas, came from a prominent family of Marblehead. Francisco Beltran de las Casas was a Spanish privateer who fought in the Cuban war for Independence. His family claimed to descend from Spanish Huguenots and fled Spain at the time of the Inquisition.
