Inscription: "Gone To A Bright Home Where Grief Comes No More, Passed Through The Golden Gate To Dwell With A Happy And Blest' By Maud LeMaster" - Research Note: poem doesn't seem to be complete. This one was first recorded as Mrs. M. A. Combs by J. T. Mayes. Stone reads Mrs. M. A. Counts. Died a widow of tuberculosis. Listed as Margaret Ann Counts according to King Funeral Home Records - Jim's Note: The stone reads Mrs. M. A. Counts. From the research I have done this stone is for Margaret Angeline Ellis, daughter of Ezekial Ellis and Margaret Ann Mackey. She first married John Woolsey Aug. 13, 1859 in McMinn County, TN and had two children with him: Ezekial, b ca 1862 and Dicy Jane, born Feb. 1863, both in Tennessee. Dicy Jane married Nelson G. Lemaster May 23, 1883 in Lawrence Co., MO and in the 1900 census they had 5 children. Margaret A. Woolsey married James M. Counts, Aug. 14, 1881, in Lawrence Co., MO. In the 1900 census she was a widow, living in Aurora Township. Jim reported a birth date of Jan. 6, 1837.
