Sandra Lee Ray Booton, 72, of Lavalette, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Randy Osburn and Paul Michael Booth. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

She was born April 3, 1942 in Dickson, WV, a daughter of the late, Bessie Saunders Ray.

Sandra was a homemaker and former x-ray technician. Her grandparents by whom she was raised, Luther “Buck” and Lola Saunders also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Russell Booton; two daughters, Mary Sharp and husband, Brad of Lavalette, WV, Amy Watts and husband, Joe of Wayne, WV; Richie Booton and wife, Michelle of Wayne, WV; a brother, Gary D. Ray and wife, Evelyn of Cocoa, FL; eight grandchildren, Jordan Mays and husband, Todd, Bradley Sharp, Haley Booton, Ashley Booton and Brady Booton, Tucker Watts, Hunter Watts and JamiLyn Watts; a great-grandson, Tripp Mays; and a host of additional family and friends.
