Mildred Loyd, age 84, of Newport, passed away, Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Loyd and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Kenny (Liz) Loyd of Newport; daughters, Linda (J.T.) Smith, Debbie (Wayne) Lane, and Marie McKinney all of Newport and Gail (David) King of Minnesotta; grandchildren, Kenneth (Crystal) Loyd, Jr. Teresa (Larry) Brinkley, Treva Ann Clous, Sheila Gentry, Daniel (Angie) Smith, Michael Jarnagin, Melissa (Brandi) Jarnagin, Josh (Mary) Loyd, and Bryson Lane; fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, special friends, Sharon and Glenda, and many other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 8:00 pm on Friday, August 15, 2014 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Watts officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm prior to the services. Burial will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Union Cemetery.
