"Those Hands Of Mother's"
by Dorothy Creech Elliot
Those hands that were so caressing,
are hands that brought many blessings
Those wrinkled little hands that loved to pick beautiful flowers,
are hands that were made by God, and were not ours.
Those hands were my mother's who was so kind to me,
my precious mother that was so dear.
I thank God for letting us have her,
and keeping her ever so near.
She is now with Jesus,
what a wonderful thing.
I can close my eyes and see her now,
as the angels sing.
