Major League Baseball Player. He was dubbed ‘Heinie' for his German heritage and as a all around infielder, made his debut for the Cincinnati Red Stockings on May 22, 1887. For three seasons, he played with the Cincinnati Red Stockings (1887-88) and Columbus Solons (1889). He finished his career with a record of 106 hits, 54 runs scored, 4 home runs, 51 runs batted in and a .269 batting average. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
