DEATH OF AGED LADY
Mrs. Caroline Waggener, wife of Rev. W. W. Waggener, died Monday evening at her home on Sugar Creek, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10:00, conducted by Rev. O. A. Cook.
Deceased was born in Shelby County, July 3, 1838, and was 72 years, 4 months and 17 days of age. She was twice married, the first time to Alford Walker in 1858 and the second time to Mr. Waggener in 1865. She is survived by the husband, a son, Ebert, and a daughter, Mrs. Alfa Munson.
She was a member of the Amity Baptist church.
