Clemson, Feb 2 - Edward A Trescott, 67, who died Friday, January 31, at his home at Pendleton, was buried at St Paul's Episcopal church, Pendleton, Saturday afternoon with the Rev Donald Veal of Clemson in charge.
Mr Trescott, a native of Charleston, was the son of the late William Henry Trescot, diplomat and publicist, and brother of the late Miss Katherine B Trescot, who was for many years librarian at Clemson college. Edward Trescot had lived at Pendleton 35 years and at different times had served as editor of the Anderson Tribune and as special writer for The News and Courier, Charleston, and other newspapers. He was also an attorney at law. One sister, Miss Sarah M Trescot of Pendleton, survives him.
