James “Jim” Morgan, 54, of Helena, MT, passed away Aug. 6, 2014 at home. Jim was born in Mercedes, TX, but lived all over the US, finally ending up in Helena.
Jim was a lover of all sports, especially baseball! He coached a little league team and played softball and golf in his spare time. Jim occasionally volunteered at the animal shelter walking the dogs. He always loved animals, especially his dog, Wallie, who is no longer with us.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Fred Morgan, sister, Rosemary Morgan and nephew, Jeremy Morgan, all Helena residents.
Jim is survived by his mother Merna of Helena, brother Steve (Cyd) Morgan, sister Ginger Morgan, nephews, Dan and Nate, niece Danielle Morgan, all from Omaha, NE and his adopted dog Sparky. Many thanks to all his friends for their help and comfort.
A public visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the family receiving friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N.
