Ellen Bradley immigrated from Ireland to New York in about 1846 and lived with her family in the Hogansburg area. She was the daughter of Richard Bradley and Mary (Toole). She married Patrick Welch on 2 Feb 1857. He also immigrated from Ireland and was the son of Luke and Anne "Nancy" McNulty Welch. After the Civil War, the family moved to Aspen, Colorodo and upon Patick's death in 1890, Ellen moved with her daughters to California. Ellen was originally buried in Los Angeles Calvary Cemetery but was moved to All Souls in 1953 by daughter Sarah Hardwick.
