Patricia Maitland, 57, of North Tonawanda, N.Y. died Monday, Feb. 18, 1991 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Kenmore, NY. She was born June 5, 1933 in Tyrone, the daughter of Fred C. and
Margaret (Hildebrand) Briggs. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Lt. Keith A. Maitland, serving with the U.S. Navy, Heather Maitland, North Tonawanda, and Scott Maitland, Bellefonte: her mother of Epworth Manor; three sisters, Marjorie Veryl Ayers, Palmyra NY; Janet Shildt, San Antonio, TX; and Joyce Leamer, Altoona and eight nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Tyrone High School and Philipsburg State Hospital School of nursing and has been employed as a registered nurse of Kenmore Mercy Hospital for the past 17 years. She was a member of North Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, an elder, member of the worship committee and church choir. She was also a member of the auxilliary to Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1411 North Tonawanda. Funeral service was held at North Presbyterian Church Tonawanda with interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, PA. Contributions in her memory may be made to the
charity of the donor's choice.
