He debuted in 1887 in Teatre Liceu of Barcelona with the opera "Lohengrin," that earned him a big success, becoming, according opera critics, one of the best singers of this play. In the same year, he played "Mefistofele" in Teatro Principal in Valencia. Two years later, he debuted in the Scala and touring around Naples, Genova and Milan. In his repertory, also played "Parsifal," "L'Africana," "Cavalleria Rusticana," "Sagunto" and "El Soņador," of valencian composer Salvador Giner Vidal.
