According to family tradition and her death certificate, my 2nd Great Grandmother Elizabeth Fannie Robinson-Taylor is in fact buried in Hull Cemetery with her Husband Rufus. Elizabeth is a daughter of Benjamin Oliger Robinson, a soldier in the War of 1812, and Ann Lloyd Finley, both of Salem County, New Jersey. Elizabeth married Rufus Hamilton Taylor, March 8, 1949, in Knox County, Indiana.

When the 1900 Vigo County, Indiana census was taken, Elizabeth was living with her daughter Mary Watson/Taylor.

Elizabeth's obituary in the November 30, 1908, Terre Haute Tribune, reads as follows: "Elizabeth F. Taylor, 76 years old, a pioneer of Indiana, died at her home, 1225 South First street, Sunday of general debility. Mrs. Taylor was the widow of Rufus Taylor, one of Terre Haute's early residents. She was born in Knox County, Indiana, and moved to Terre Haute soon after her marriage. Six children survive her. They are HAMILTON, WILLIAM and NEWTON TAYLOR, Mrs. JOHN WATSON and Mrs. CHARLES MCFARLAND, all of Terre Haute, and Mrs. D.W. NORTON, of Chicago. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 o'clock from the home. Burial will be at Hull's Cemetery, south of the city."

I honor my 2nd Great Grandmother and her life in my third book in the family series regarding my maternal side has now been published called The Taylor Connection. This book not only details my Taylor family, but also my Brock, Brockschmidt (Brocksmith), Earp, Randolph, Smith Connections and much more. Like the Atterson/Auterson Connection and Attersons/Autersons Connected, this book is loaded with pictures, interviews, diagrams, documents, and many other factual proofs.
