PHILLIPS WINSTON-SALEM Willie Vestal Phillips Sept. 2, 1927 - July 25th, 2014 Mrs. Willie Vestal Phillips age 86 of Winston-Salem, died Friday, July 25th, 2014 at Bermuda Commons Health and Rehab. Mrs. Phillips was born in Forsyth County on September 2, 1927 to the late Will Conner and the late Myrtle Hines Conner. She was employed at RJ Reynolds for 38 years, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Max Vestal. Mrs. Phillips has been in declining health for the last 2½years. Survived by her sons; Donnie Vestal, Sr. (Diana) of Advance and Eddie C. Vestal (Elly Walker) of Winston-Salem; grandchildren James Vestal of Winston-Salem, Donnie Vestal, Jr. of Advance and Dana Vestal of Charlotte; also survived by her former husband Glenn Phillips Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
