He was joined in death by his companion, Mya's mother, Heather Nichole Clapper, and surviving, in addition to his parents and his baby daughter, Mya Lee Clapper, are three brothers, Modesto Hernandez of Hanover, Epefanio Hernandez of Hanover, and Ismael Hernandez of North Carolina; and numerous relatives in Mexico.
Burial was in Mexico.
