This is the obituary printed on the back of Margaret's funeral service bulletin: "Margaret Ethel Armstrong was born on September 29, 1922, in Kimball, Nebraska and passed away October 14, 2006 in Seattle, four weeks after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth and Edwin Chambers Armstrong and youngest of six children.
"Margaret moved with her family to Yakima, WA in the late 1930's and graduated from Yakima High School in 1940. She married Warren Moe in 1943 while he was serving in the Coast Guard. They raised their three children in Shelton and Seattle. Margaret loved the years she worked for Simpson Timber Company, beginning in 1963 in Shelton and continuing in Seattle until her retirement in 1983.
"Margaret's radiant smile, optimism and kind nature characterized her whole life and endured to the end.
"In her dying, Margaret continued to teach us the meaning of grace and dignity. Margaret is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Warren Moe; daughter Marilyn Dorsett and former son-in-law Tom Dorsett, and their children Dan and Andrew Dorsett, and Jenny (Dorsett) Williamson, and her husband Joe; daughter Carol O'Rourke and son-in-law Tom O'Rourke, and their children Colin and Katy O'Rourke; and son Brian Moe and daughter-in-law Jennifer Paris, and their sons Wren and Gabriel Paris-Moe."
(Margaret's husband Warren was still living as of July 2014.)
