Funeral Services for Katie Jean Morris will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday morning 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Morris was born in Greenfield, TN on May 24, 1936 to Auvern and Ivy Mae Conway Williams. She worked at Bethel University with food service and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Legion Morris, one sister Lois Morris, three brothers Auvern Williams, Jr, Billy Williams and Richard Williams.

She is survived by a daughter Tammy ( AB) Marlar of Sharon, a son Ken(Debi) Morris of Union City two sisters Dean Lemons of McKenzie and Joyce Sexton of Greenfield, one brother Doyle Williams of Dresden and six grandchildren Chris Cozart, Karen Cozart, Adam (Emily) Marlar, Kendra(Chuck) Nash, Jay (Liz) Morris and Lauren (Sean) Bomar and eighteen great-grandchildren.
